Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish to Delight In?

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for June 6,  2012 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish to Delight In?

My work space is a mess this morning … bits of torn paper, paint brushes, Healing Touch brochures, a package that needs to be shipped to Ana, in Seville … travel bags, oil pastels, books, and an invitation to our “Afternoon of Healing Arts” coming up later this month.

Messy … and delightful.  It’s really just a pile of pure goodness ~ teeny tiny pieces of my creative self at my fingertips until they each receive the attention they deserve.  Each a cherished part of my journey.

Many opportunities have fallen into my lap … opportunities for me to learn, grow, and expand … little knowings along the way that assure me that I’m in the right place, that I’ll survive the next sharp curve, and that I’ll come out on the other side a smarter, stronger, and more compassionate woman.

Each step brings me more in line with my ultimate calling, which I believe is to be a healing presence in this world.  It is my prayer during meditation.

I wish to delight in every opportunity that comes my way.  I wish to delight in the journey ‘home’, and all that it brings.

With warmest Wishcasting love,

So, what do you wish to delight in?

Leave a comment below…who knows, you may feel inspired to start your own Wishcasting page.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’m really glad you’re here.

I also wish to thank Dare Darlington for the gorgeous picture….I’m so glad to have found just the right place to use it

Your work space sounds like my work bench. Too many projects with to few being completed. Maybe when I get my wheel balancing project completed it will be smooth sailing to get some other things done. I’m glad you are inspired by a messy area. That means you inherited some good genes. Keep up the good writing.

    • We are project people, now aren’t we?! Whether I ever finish a project or not, I’m certain that I’ve inherited the best genes a girl could wish for! I’ll keep up the writing, and you keep up the … well, just as long as neither you nor David gets hurt, right? 🙂

Your fourth graders would not like you misspelling Wednesday.

“Wednsday” Too many things on your mind.

    • Fixed it 🙂 Whenever we’d do a writing project my students would ask “Ms. Agee, does this need to be pretty good, but not perfect?” … they knew that I wanted them to do their best, but the important part of writing was to get their thoughts on paper, we could clean up the errors later. It’s a pretty good rule to live by.
      Love you dad!
