Wishcasting Wednesday: What is Your Heart’s Wish?

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it. On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for June 27, 2012 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What is Your Heart’s Wish?

I woke up this morning with a decision.  I only have a short bit of time before I go to work each day, so I had to make a choice about how to spend my morning hour … work on the mini-collages I’d been thinking of, or write a post for Wishcasting Wednesday.  I decided I’d check the Wishcasting topic, and see which felt most-compelling.

Jamie’s prompt read: “What’s your heart’s wish?” … no surprise that the mini-collages were hearts … and my wish was to finish them to give to some dear friends.  I knew I could write a quick post AND do the collages, so I came to my laptop … no connection (this almost never happens) …

I love it when the answers are clear. So, I worked on two little hearts, holding two sweet souls in light as I pasted bits of paper onto the sketches … all the while fulfilling my very heart’s wish.

My heart’s wish is to be a healing, (and creative) presence in this world. While I love it when the product is pleasing, I am so much more in love with the process.  This process of doing, giving, being in the moment … which carries me ever closer to the life I imagine.  The one I’ve been Wishcasting about for two years now ~

My heart’s wish is to gently and lovingly bring all of my pieces together, in good time, and be a source of support, healing, and balance for those who are seeking. I am learning to let go of the details … where and when and how … and to be present in the steps that make up my journey.

When I am present, the word that continues to come back to me is “reconciliation” ~ a mysterious, and divinely wonderful word.

So, I almost finished the collages, and then went to my day job … and am now back at home. The internet is up again, and I’m able to share this wish with you … beautiful Wishcasting circle ~

Perhaps I’m to learn from today ~ that I really can do it all … and that the timing is absolutely not up to me.

With warmest Wishcasting love,

  1. Jane, both your wish and collages are beautiful. I love what you said about not worrying about the where, when, and how. This is something that I am trying to be better at focusing on too. As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also.

    • Hi Tracy ~ thanks so much for stopping by, and for the good wishes. The funny thing about letting go of the how and when, is that we really have no control of it anyway, so letting go of it seems the most sensible thing. Ahhhh, so much easier said than done. 🙂
      With warmest Wishcasting love,
      Jane

  7. Anne Anne

What a blessing it is to think about you creating the beautiful hearts and thinking of those souls as you worked. So sweet and light giving. Thank you.
As you wish for yourself, so I also wish for you my soul sister.

  8. Hello Anne ~ my love is for the process … not so much the product. Creating these little collages brought me so much joy … giving them away was icing on the cake. 🙂
