I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.
Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it. On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Work On?
July 7, 2010 … I made my first wish on Wishcasting Wednesday. I’ve written many, many wishes between then and now.
Jamie helped me … helped us all believe that sunshine and sparkles really could come true. So we just kept wishing.
It’s Wednesday … and exactly the right time to tell you about my wishes-come-true.
In just a few short weeks, I’ll step into my finished studio … Barefoot Studios, in Roanoke, Virginia. I’ll go to work in the morning surrounded by amazing artwork in the gallery, have my daily meditation, spend the morning painting at my easel, writing and connecting with all of you here, and then, perhaps an afternoon in the healing studio, offering Healing Touch sessions. There will be plenty of work … plenty of phone calls, and contacts, and letters to write, and taxes … it’s part of owning a business, and living my dream. I welcome it all …
It is real … no longer a wish. No longer something that I am working for someday.
I have worked on it … drawn it, and sketched it, and painted it, and dreamed it, and talked about it, and lived it in my mind … and most importantly in my heart.
I will be in the mountains of Virginia, minutes away from my son, my sisters, and my parents. Though I’ve loved Raleigh … I’ve missed my family so.
In an email dated September 8, 2010, Jamie wrote ” … And in the meantime, remember to celebrate all that you’ve done! This is just the beginning, Jane. There is more magic coming for you, to you and through you. I know it.” I love this woman ~
And so we all continue to support each other … in-person or on-line … and to hold one-another’s dreams until the time, and the circumstances, and the work are all in alignment.
With a heart overflowing with gratitude for you ~ who pop into teeny tiny pieces as often as you’re able, and lend a word of hope and love, and who helped me to keep my dream alive ~ thank you.
I have so much to do in the next few weeks … I’ve been working hours long and diligent. I wish to work on this dream.
… and I wish to continue my work, at Barefoot Studios, supporting others who have a dream, even before they realize it … even before it can be spoken.
Make a wish … and see what happens.

That is so awesome. I have the same wish. I would love to open a studio in my hometown just north of Boston. I am so happy for you that you were able to achieve your wish. I keep dreaming, but i think I need to put more of a plan in place to move forward! As you wish so I wish for you!
Hi Amy ~ I’ve put many, many plans in place … but most importantly, I just held my dream close in my heart, and kept moving forward. Sometimes in teeny tiny steps, and sometimes in pretty big leaps … but I stayed intentional about moving forward in whatever way I was able. Draw it, paint it, name it, create it in your heart and soul … and remember to keep making wishes ~
