Hello sweet friends!
Can you believe it’s almost time to pack up my collection of paintings and collages and drive them to Asheville?
They’ll be on exhibit at Early Girl Eatery for the months of August and September, so if you’re in the area, I hope you’ll stop by. Here’s a peek at some of the pieces … they’re getting rather giddy with excitement for the trip!
My summer months have been booked solid, creating art for the exhibit, and putting in any other available hours at NC State. (Though our special delight has been packing gorgeously simple picnics and stealing away to our favorite hidden spot on the Eno River.)
Amidst artwork, picnics, and the strangely wonderful world of test creation, it always feels like home to return to this space, and to connect with you.
There are new opportunities just around the bend, and I hope to share them with you soon.
In the meantime, step into the sunshine, pull off your shoes, and grab a moment of summer bliss.
Take special good care,
