Conversation with Tara Sophia Mohr

Today I’m super-happy to share with you, my conversation with Tara Mohr, of Wise Living Blog. I continue to be amazed when the pieces of my journey fall gently into place. This interview was no exception. We talked about honoring our process, finding our voice, trusting creativity, and sharing unconditional love. At the end of the recording I ask Tara to speak for a moment about her latest amazing program, Playing Big. This interview also includes a special treat, as she reads her tender poem The Real Life.

Tara leads workshops, writes, and speaks on a variety of topics including compassion, balance, finding your right work, and living a life of fulfillment. Tara is a coach and a poet, a contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-creator and co-editor of two anthologies of women’s writings. She is passionate about personal growth, spirituality, and women’s issues, and was recently recently named a “Girl Champion of 2010” by The Girl Effect organization.

I chose to keep the entire interview intact … even the first few seconds before we were connected. Honor the process. I was hugely nervous the first 30 seconds, as this was my first experience with conducting a recorded interview ~ but I loved every minute of it, and trust that you’ll breathe with me through my jitters and soak up all the goodness Tara so freely shares.

Just click the player below to listen. Our conversation is just over 25 minutes long.

  1. Hi Jane and Tara,

I loved listening to the wisdom and creativity in your conversation.

Jane I’m happy to be the receiver of one of your paintings and I’m reminded of your love for humanity when I look at it. It’s sitting on my window sill in the kitchen.

    Tara,
The poem you read is so beautiful and congratulations on offering the course of your dreams to women all over the world.

    Blessings to both of you!
