Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Create?

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for August 8,  2012 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish to Create?

I recently worked with two dear friends to create an afternoon for women to come together, rest, relax, and heal.  We did this by offering a safe, comfortable space, with lots of opportunities for creativity.  I offered Healing Touch sessions, they explored Doreen Virtue’s angel cards, made necklaces, beautiful little boxes, and paintings of self-expression. These were the physical.

As I stood at my massage table, glancing out from time to time across the room, I saw much more than the physical.  I saw pure love, peace, comfort, and compassion.  There was nothing to buy, and nothing to accomplish.  Only to be, and to heal.

I was honored to be in presence with this amazing and beautiful group of women.  Women who hadn’t met before that day, enjoying one-another.  Offering a safe, healing, and creative space allowed them to take down barriers, to relax into the moment, to let go of judgment of themselves and of others.  It allowed them to just be, in whatever form their being took that day. What Sher, Anne, and I created, the women gladly accepted, and held for one-another.

I am, at this moment, in the process of creating my permanent space for such offerings.

I have been wishing here, on Wishcasting Wednesday for more than two years.  I can tell you, that honoring our wishes, and wishing for that which is for our highest good, and for the highest good of others, comes to pass.  The part that can be challenging is that we don’t get to call the time.  We don’t get to know exactly what it will look like in the end. We don’t even get to say when or where or why … we just wish.  We just hold our intention, and give our wishes every drop of love, compassion, knowledge, and attention they deserve.

What we do get to choose, is how enjoyable the journey will be.

I am creating my space.  I am creating a place for women to gather in safety, in presence, in creativity, in unconditional love.  Men will come.  Children will come.  But I know in my heart, that this will be, and in-fact already is, a place for women to gather.

Like a ripe summer tomato … my wishes are ready to be plucked from their place in this space, and set with grace and love in our physical world.  More to come when the time is right ~

With biggest love and a heart full of creative wishes for you ~

With warmest Wishcasting love,
