Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Release?

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for October 3,  2012 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Release?

I have big work to do … and I wish to release all obstacles in my path.

I wish to release all that stands between me and doing big, important work in this world … that all of the fear, insecurity, codependency, and overwhelm would be exposed in the light of unconditional love and released.

Often, when I’m working through something, I’ll pick the same Angel cards, over and over.  It’s a comforting feeling … like a child who’s not sure she can really ride her bike, and her parents say, “Yes, you can do this, you’re big enough and strong enough.  This is a safe bike, and you’re going to be just fine.”  So when I pick the “Blessings of Abundance” card again … for the seventeenth time, I just say “thank you, God … I know, I get it … thank you”

What does the card say?  There are several paragraphs, but this is my favorite part …

“Let go of worrying about how your needs will be met, because God’s infinite creative wisdom will take care of the details.”

More and more, I am able to let go of this worry.  My needs have always been met.  I know that they will always be … through God’s infinite creative wisdom.

I have big work to do.  There are many women in pain out there.  There are many little girls who can’t read.  There are many people with no food, and no safe place to sleep at night.  Yes, I have big work to do.  Watching ‘Half the Sky’ this week was a huge affirmation for me … that this world is way too big and way too needy for me to play small … for any of us to play small.

Let go of worry … my needs will be met … your needs will be met.  We have big work to do.

With biggest love and a heart full of creative wishes for you~

Love,

What a beautiful wish, Jane..Half the Sky looks like a wonderful organization, and your reminder to “play bigger” is timely! As you wish for yourself, so I too wish for you as well 🙂

    • Hi Joy! Thanks for stopping by! Half the Sky is a documentary, which brings to light the work that we need to do to support women throughout the world. It’s an amazing 4 hours, and I hope you’ll check it out. (It’s a PBS documentary). Playing big is always relative … just when I think I’m playing big, I realize I have much more growing to do … so I stay with the journey. 🙂
      Have a lovely day ~
      With warmest Wishcasting love,
      Jane
