Wishcasting Wednesday: Today, I’m just wishing to send some love!

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

I’m guessing that some weeks I’ll answer her prompt, and some weeks I may not get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for February 9, 2011 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: Today, I’m just wishing to send some love!

Today I did dare to put myself out there a little ~ to send some love through my prayers and good thoughts, and through these four little paintings.  I’d hoped to give each painting away to a reader, and they have each been promised at this point.  When I had the idea to send love into the world, I had no idea I’d receive so much in return.  I sent my husband a text every little bit this morning, letting him know how many of the paintings were left … after the third one was spoken for I was so moved by everyone’s kindness, that I texted “Wishcasters ROCK!” ~ and you do!

Sending some love ~ Jane

… been painting pinks and oranges, and my wish this week is to share them with you.  Just a tiny gift to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for stopping by.

They’re 5×7 acrylics, and unframed.  I painted them in my kitchen tonight, thinking of each of you, and the impact you’ve made in my life through Wishcasting Wednesday and beyond.

If you see a painting you’d like to have (it’s a freebie), just let me know in the comments, or by email.  They’re originals, so I’ll just send each one to the first person who requests it … but don’t put your address in the comments … obv!

Have a beautiful week ~ wishing for myself and for each of you, to hold the peaceful contentment we each feel when we allow ourselves space to do those things that bring fulfillment ~

      Hi Erin ~ putting myself out there is certainly a dare I’m playing with these days. I did, in-fact write a ‘wish to dare’ last night after Jamie posted the prompt, but it wound up feeling forced, so I deleted it, and wrote what was in my heart … share some love.

      I’ve been wanting to give to the Wishcasting Circle in some way for quite a while, and finally decided it would need to be on a Wednesday, because that’s when we generally connect. It was certainly wonderful to see the joy in our words as we interacted through email and comments today ~ beautiful way to share love.

    I love the paintings. I really resonate to the color palette. It’s soft and warm and inviting – marvelous. The on the right looks like a Callalilly? (I think?) It’s beautiful – they both are!

      Hi Angela ~ I love the colors, too. You can’t see it very well in the photos (they’re from my cellphone) but there’s a metallic gold that I love with the pinks. I tend to enjoy a color combination for a while, and then move on when I’m ready for the next.

      Thanks for your kindness, Aileen ~ the more I paint, the more I understand that being authentic while I paint is the most important thing. Sometimes the results turn out beautifully, and sometimes … they get painted over. 🙂 All part of my process.
