Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Take A Stand For?

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

Some weeks I answer her prompt, and some weeks I don’t quite get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for May 11, 2011 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish To Take A Stand For?

I wish to take a stand for little Janie-bug, in this picture, who liked playing with baby dolls, wearing her mother’s big hats, and pulling ‘skirts’ and old pocketbooks from storage boxes in the basement.

I wish to honor her child-like love for the world, for the earth, and her trust that all is well.  I wish to honor her little smile and her big, curious, heart.

I wish to love and be loved just as she was on that day, and all the days of her beautiful childhood.

I wish to take a stand for the little Jane that still lives here in my spirit … still stands in the sunshine.  With my support, she’ll be better prepared to take a stand for bigger things, for her work that is yet to be done in this world … for the good she has yet to do.

So, what do you wish to take a stand for?
