Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish for Your Relationships?

Every Wednesday, the amazing Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

Each week I read it, and find myself wishing I had the time, and a special place to answer her prompt.

Well, now I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

I’m guessing that some weeks I’ll answer her prompt, and some weeks I still won’t get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to myWishcast for July 7, 2010 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish for Your Relationships?

For my relationships I wish for a heightened awareness that each person I come into contact with is a part of my journey, and I am a part of theirs, whether for a brief moment, or for a lifetime.

My actions and reactions make a difference in my life and the lives of others.

I wish for authentic giving and receiving in my relationships.

What a powerful wish! Youhave detailed it so well!
As Jane wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Relationships, especially those of family, are often complicated. Struggles with them evoke our deepest emotions about who we are, and those that should be of most comfort are often our biggest threat against maintaining peace in our souls and in our lives. Casting troubled relations aside as some choose to do rarely brings peace, because those relations are so deeply attached to our scars. Casting them off along with the scars leaves voids that make wholeness unachievable. My wish is to be able to embrace and be embraced by those that stir my soul or whom I stir theirs.

  3. I wish that my relationships are steeped in love, respect and mutual nurturing. I wish for tolerance and non-judgment in my relationships. I shall try better to give what I wish to receive. Thanks Jane and Jamie.

A wise wish that I would wish for myself. Thank you.

  7. Jane, what a good question. Got me thinking and having to be honest with myself. So to answer to your question; I wish for all my relationships to reflect back to me exactly who I am. Now I await and see what the loving mirror brings.
