Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish For Less Of?

Every Wednesday, the incredibly talented Jamie Ridler, of Jamie Ridler Studios, posts a Wishcasting prompt.

Each week I read it, and find myself wishing I had the time, and a special place to answer her prompt.

Well, now I’ve made a place, a beautiful page on my blog, to cradle my wishes and dreams.

I’m guessing that some weeks I’ll answer her prompt, and some weeks I still won’t get to it.  On the days when I do make time to honor my wishes and dreams, they’ll be here, on the Wishcasting Wednesday page of my blog.

So here’s to my Wishcast for September 8, 2010 ~

Wishcasting Wednesday: What Do You Wish For Less Of?

Making a wish is a powerfully spectacular way of setting my intention. Today, we are wishing for the power of less ….

I wish for less worry about money. Having enough, and how much is enough? Being able to buy what I need, and what is it that I really need? Preparing for ‘the future’, and what does the future hold for me?

Whether or not I live extravagantly is only a matter of perspective. So the answers to money questions evolve just as my interests, values, and dreams evolve. Worry and fear are blocks. Always, there is a need for trust, guidance, and balance.

As a mother, a daughter, a wife, a blogger, an educator, and an artist … I wish to create, write, live, love, and share without worry for money … without fear of being without, and without fear of desiring too much. Neither end of the spectrum is healthy.

Energy follows thought. If my thoughts are of creating authentic beauty and doing good, my energy will follow. The journey will unfold before me in unbelievable ways. In order to keep my life and my creative journey in balance and free of obstacles, I wish to worry less about money.

Wouldn’t it be lovely if we could all be free from worrying about money? I wish all your worries away.

    • Thank you for the wishes, Stefanie. Happy Wednesday 🙂

  3. As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well.

    • Thank you, Courtney.
      Take good care,

  4. Wow, that wish is powerful! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you also!

I have the same questions, the same concerns. I love what you wrote here: “Having enough, and how much is enough? Being able to buy what I need, and what is it that I really need? Preparing for ‘the future’, and what does the future hold for me? ”

That is really the truth, isn’t it? What is enough? What do I really need? Exactly how do I prepare for an unknown future?

    • Thank you Carola,
I thought I’d replied to each of my wishes, but it seems a few are missed. Thank you for the wish … less worry, more delight!

I wish for fewer strokes when I play golf so I can beat my two son in laws. Money isn’t the important thing. Its the bragging rights.
Jane, wish your dreams come true, although money is important sometimes in making dreams come true.

    • Hello Jim B! I thought I’d already replied to all of these posts, but guess something happened with them. As you wish for your golf game, so I wish for you, too…but I don’t wish for your golf strokes to improve but so much, or we’ll go broke on your nickel golf bets when you guys play! 🙂

Hope we’ll all worry less about money, and just enjoy, and care for what we have.

      Love you!!

Less of? Hmm. . . For everyone, I wish for you less of whatever it is you wish for less of. For me, I wish for less anxiety over small things that don’t really matter. I wish for less physical pain as this old body goes through the latest stages of life. I wish for less than 200 calories in a piece of chocolate lava cake with hot fudge over the vanilla ice cream on top. I wish for less insomnia during a full moon. I wish for less clutter in my life and in my mind. I wish my aging car had less mileage on it. I wish for less good luck for the little mouse who has taken up residence in my garage since the weather is beginning to change – I do hate “meeces” to pieces! I wish for less junk mail and less spam. I wish for less violence and hate in our world. I wish for less garbage from everyone in a world that is finally recognizing GREEN is important. I wish for less of all the things I keep coming up with that I wish for less of. Thanks for listening, Jane . . .

    • Hi, dear Gail, I’m wishing for you less of the burdens of life, and more of the good stuff. Take good care, and stay in healing energy!
      🙂 Jane
